CALL FOR PAPERS
Mazoon College (University College), Muscat, Sultanate of Oman is organizing an International Conference on “Higher Education and Quality Assurance” 6-7 April 2010 in association with the Ministry of Higher Education, Oman, and Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, Missouri, U.S.A.
This 2-day conference is aimed to provide opportunities for exchange of information and ideas in higher education developments and quality assurance in higher education. It will provide an opportunity for academicians, students, educational administrators and researchers to promote discussion and share knowledge, experience and expertise on the developments and best practices in higher education. This conference will also discuss the challenges and issues pertaining to new developments, innovation, and technology based education. Policies, governance and management in education will also be discussed.
The theme of the conference is:
“Global Trends and Challenges in Higher Education and Quality Assurance”

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
All submissions shall be made in English Language and submitted through MS Word format.
Research-based papers should include a critical analysis of the current issues and challenges in higher education and quality assurance. The abstract should also include the research question(s), hypotheses, methodology, data collection, findings or results and discussion. Abstracts should not be more than 500 words of Times New Roman 12 font and should be submitted via e-mail to the Program Committee at "conference@mazooncollege.edu.om" and copy to: drnaseer27@gmail.com

- » Margins must be 1 inch on all sides
- » Font size 12 Times New Roman (body text)
- » Single spacing
- » Referencing, graphics & tables will be considered in the total page count.
- » Maximum 10 pages
- » Please use only the Harvard style of referencing
- » The proceedings will be published in CD format.
Submission should include a separate title page which indicates the title of the paper, the name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), contact details and e-mail address (es). Submission should also include four key words that describe the paper.
