The Associate and Bachelor Degree in English are innovatively taught programs that place special emphasis on the literature of English, theories of writing, communication skills and linguistics. The English Department provides courses of study that are regularly revised within the faculty. Best practice is maintained through research, consultation with allied educational bodies and liaison with other professional organizations.

The INTENSIVE ENGLISH PROGRAM (IEP) at Mazoon College focuses on students developing a solid understanding and usage of language skills. The IEP offers an integrated curriculum that helps students to develop a high level of proficiency in all areas of the English Language.

It also offers a wide variety of skills and courses for local Secondary, Intermediate and Elementary local School Certificates. The Intensive English Program (IEP) students can prepare for study at Mazoon College, the Missouri University of Science & Technology - Rolla or any other American University.
