In today’s world the only thing that is certain is change and this could be appropriately said about ‘Computer Science & IT’. The best IT professional is not the one who has the knowledge and skills to work on the latest but the one who has been trained to foresee and adapt to emerging technologies in the world of computers.
At Mazoon College we, therefore, strive to produce the best of computer science professionals for today and tomorrow. The most important aspect of Mazoon college philosophy is the emphasis on self-learning. The role of Mazoon College is to develop the students through a balance of internationally accepted scholastic approaches. Equal importance is given to classroom learning, non-classroom learning and internship for the development of right attitudes, skill-sets and knowledge. Classroom learning is meant primarily for theoretical and conceptual inputs. Classroom learning is consolidated further by combining lectures with group learning, real-life case studies and hands-on exercises. Group learning is an effective vehicle preparing prospective computer science professionals to be adept in seeking and acquiring knowledge, rather than having it imparted in the classroom. Free exchange of ideas among members of each group through discussions and project presentations not only conserves time and effort, it also enhances learning and communication skills. The curriculum is periodically updated after deliberations with and is based on the feedback received from the industry and alumni.
